Summary/Subject
Basic summary of the issue being experienced.
Description
The description section is meant to add a detailed description to the issue you are experiencing. This includes, how to reproduce the issue, the results you experienced and the result you expected had the issue not occurred. The more detailed provided the better as it helps us reproduce the issue and potentially fix it. When possible, please include the following:
Reproduction Steps
Reproduction steps should detail how to get the bug to reproduce. Detailed steps on the setup of the issue including the action performed to get to the bug
Actual Results
The result of following the reproduction steps
Expected Results
What you were expecting to occur when following the reproduction steps
Reproduction rate
Reproduction rate should explain how frequent the issue reproduces.
Diagnostic Information
Diagnostic information helps us know where the issue occurred.
Environment
Environment should detail where the bug reproduces. Glance provides a convenient way to extract most of the needed information. Please follow the instructions listed under the Diagnostic Information text field. Steps are repeated below for convenience.
- Access the Glance by left clicking on the Glance icon, found in the Windows tray.
- Click on "About" from the left hand menu.
- Click "Detailed Information" button.
- Click on "Copy details to Clipboard".
- Fill the Diagnostic Information field with the acquired information, by right-clicking and selecting paste, or by using the shortcut "Ctrl+V"
If relevant, please also include the version of any other software that’s involved with the issue (e.g Teams, Zoom, Media Player)
Attachments
Very often it is helpful to include the Glance logs. To do so repeat the above with 1 extra step:
- Access the Glance by left clicking on the Glance icon, found in the Windows tray.
- Click on "About" from the left hand menu.
- Click "Detailed Information" button.
- Click on "Copy details to Clipboard".
- Fill the Diagnostic Information field with the acquired information, by right-clicking and selecting paste, or by using the shortcut "Ctrl+V"
- Please also click Save Glance debug data to Desktop and attach the zipped package to the submitted ticket.
Include Media
It is often very helpful to have attached media such as images or video attached to the bug as it helps us in reproducing the reported issue.
